MT940 statement – how do you download it from ING?
Wondering how to download an MT940 statement from ING? It only takes a few minutes, and you will have the statement file on your drive.
Below is a brief description of the steps you need to take to save a statement in MT940 format. You can send a statement in this format to your accounting office. You have two ways to download an MT940 statement from ING – from one account or from several accounts at once.
I. Downloading a statement from one account.
1. Open the main menu, press “Accounts” or “History”, then select “Statements”, OR select “Statements” from the “My shortcuts” menu.

2. Set the “Account” and/or “Date range” filters as appropriate, then tick the boxes next to the statements you want to download.
3. Click “Download statements (MT940)”.
II. Downloading statements from several accounts at once.
1. Sign in to your account and click “Account list” in the “My shortcuts” module or “Accounts” in the main menu.
2. Click “Download MT940 statement” and select the period for which you want to download the statement.
