On Tuesday, May 9, we had the pleasure of taking part in the second edition of the Drop Day conference, organised by the Sky-Shop.pl platform.
What is Drop Day 2023? It is the largest free online conference in Poland dedicated entirely to dropshipping!
700 participants, 8 presentations by e-commerce experts, 6 hours of practical knowledge and plenty of benefits from the event’s partners. During those few hours, participants had the opportunity to gain a substantial amount of knowledge useful for running an online business. Our Management Board Member, Krzysztof Mrugalski, introduced participants to accounting and tax settlements in dropshipping and discussed both the advantages and challenges of running a business in Poland.
The expert presentations were designed to introduce everyone to the world of e-commerce – from complete beginners to more experienced online sellers. Thanks to Kinga Tobała from Sky-Shop, we learned what dropshipping really is and how to sell effectively without maintaining your own warehouse. Zofia Babicka-Klecor from Legal Geek guided us through the legal aspects of online sales. Another Sky-Shop speaker, Tomasz Kubica, discussed cooperation with wholesalers, where to look for suppliers and which wholesale integration features are worth paying attention to in order to manage product ranges efficiently. After his presentation, it was time for Anna Kwiatkowska, representing our partner Allegro. Together with Kinga Tobała, she guided participants through the entire process of registering an account and creating listings. Łukasz Kamiński, an e-commerce expert, introduced participants to sales strategies. Following our presentation and Krzysztof’s talk, Kamil Stasiak from Top Online discussed artificial intelligence and its potential applications in business.
To sum up, the entire event offered a wealth of practical knowledge about dropshipping. The organisers focused on bringing together the most important issues related to online sales and sharing them with participants through practical insights and the exchange of experience – completely free of charge.
