Non-working days in 2022
In 2022 we will have 13 non-working days.
Due to the fact that some public holidays fall on Saturday, the employer, in accordance with the Act of January 18, 1951 on public holidays and the Act of June 26, 1974 of the Labor Code, is obliged to give employees a day off on another date. In 2021, such a situation took place on May 1 and December 25.
In 2022, non-working days that fall on the weekend are New Year's Day (January 1, Saturday), Labor Day (May 1, Sunday), Pentecost (June 5, Sunday) and Christmas Day (December 25, Sunday). However, we can expect the employer to establish a different date of the day off only on 1 January.
